Minnie Evans – The Beautiful Dreamer
Minnie Evans was born on Dec.12, 1892 in rural Long Creek, North Carolina. Two months later she moved to Wilmington, NC. Her first two works seemed to jump out at her from inside a magazine where she had safely tucked them away years earlier; and they did so just as she was about to toss the periodical into the fire.
