SALVAGED: Aaron Kramer and the Secret Life of Objects - Exhibition at CAFAM
Aaron Kramer was recently interviewed by Leah Ollman, writer for the Los Angeles Times, about his solo exhibition currently running at the Craft and Folk Art Museum. In this day and age salvaging and recycling is always a good thing! Aaron Kramer has taken that idea and transformed it into an art form. One in which he even teaches in workshops for children and adults alike.

Everyday objects with the patina of time and wear serve as the raw materials of the artist’s sculptures. His work is the focus of a solo show at the Craft and Folk Art Museum. When Aaron Kramer was a boy, he would ride his bike through the streets of his Chicago neighborhood on the evening before trash pickup, trawling for interesting discards. Read the full story here-
